A collaboration between The Royal Canadian Mint and Canada Post has produced this collectable sterling silver coin and stamp set featuring the peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus) and its nestlings in its natural habitat. One of the world’s fastest birds, the peregrine falcon is regarded by falconers and biologists alike as one of the noblest and most spectacular of all birds of prey. Look for them perching or nesting on skyscrapers, water towers, cliffs, power pylons, and other tall structures.
