The Royal Canadian Mint operates two facilities: it’s original home in Ottawa and its high-tech and high-volume facility in Winnipeg. This 1998 W Proof Like Set is produced in Winnipeg and to distinguish them from those that are created in Ottawa, a “W” was added to the coins. The coins include the $2, $1, 50-cent, 25-cent, 10-cent, 5-cent, and penny coins made from nickel. Released in 1998, the set’s packaging comes in transparent plastic so that the coins can retain their aesthetic qualities for extended periods. Add this set to your collection now!
